Hurley Area Winter Recreational Report January 24, 2022
North Iron County Snowmobile Trails:
It’s cold in North Iron County…….and temps are going to stay in the teens throughout this week. Pack warm and head up for some awesome trail riding!!
All trails have been groomed and are reported in GOOD to GREAT conditions. Look out for logging on Trail 8E, where you will find about 5 miles of plowed section.

STAY on the marked trail. RIDE right. SLOW down and STAY together.
Watch for groomer drivers ---- stop and wait to be waved on before you proceed.

Historic Montreal Ski and Uller Trails:
Everything is 100% groomed with tracks set. If you are snow shoeing, stay off the tracks!! There’s plenty of room for everyone!!
All of this cold weather is making ice, currently have around 14-18” on inland lakes. Grab your friends and get out to one of the inland lakes and enjoy the day!
Cary Road Park Trail:
The Cary Road Park and Trail is rolled and ready for your walking and snow shoeing enjoyment. Parking is available at Cary Road Park, the trail goes around the park and also extends along the power line from the Northwest corner of the park, back east to the walking trail. Follow the rolled area and blue stakes to navigate your way.
