North Iron County offers THE Ultimate Recreational Trail Adventure with access to hundreds of miles of electrifying trails — the largest trail system in Wisconsin. Our trail system has family friendly trails that are easier to navigate to the more challenging for the experienced rider. Scenic beauty abounds with many opportunities to “get back to nature.” Ride through forest land to the secluded Spring Camp Falls or out to the shore of the largest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Superior. The trails incorporate many of our county’s historic transportation, lumberjack and mining sites.
Pit stops on the trails are a must! Quaint pubs, taverns, rustic restaurants and an array of lodging choices are readily available. Hurley’s Famous Silver Street is an entire experience in itself with its sparkling nightlife and all the FUN that we are known for.
Schomberg Park offers 14 campsites with electrical hook-ups, bathrooms, showers, dump station, ATV/ UTV wash, and day use parking. Having exclusive trails access, this park and campground is nestled right next to Layman’s Creek and one of the most peaceful spots in all of Iron County.
Weber Lake Park offers 11 campsites with electrical hook-ups, bathrooms, showers, ATV/ UTV trail access, boat ramp, hiking, day use parking and playground. Nestled next to Weber Lake it is a perfect spot to call home while you adventure through the area.

35th Annual Memorial Day Rally Weekend
There is no better way to kick of the summer than with some off-road riding, friends, and family for Memorial Day weekend! Come to Hurley, WI where we hold the largest ATV rally in Wisconsin every year. The Poker Run starts on Thursday, May 21st and ends on Sunday, May 24th, 2020. Local businesses will be offering specials all weekend long along with raffles. On Sunday our Hurley Fire Department will host its infamous mud pit near Twin City Dairy. Come join us for a bundle of fun this Memorial Day, make sure to book your weekend ahead of time as lodging fills up quick!
Thursday, May 21 – Sunday, May 24 —- Poker Run
Friday, May 22 —– The LARGEST ATV/ UTV Parade; line up begins at 3:00 pm with Food, Beverages available from the Montreal Fire Department. Parade leaves the staging (located approximately 2 miles west of Hurley where trail 77 & 15 meet) area at 7:00 pm.
Sunday, May 24 — INFAMOUS Mud Pit; Registration at Noon, racing begins at 1:00 pm. Food, Beverages, Raffles, Paddle Game, DJ Music!
